HEALUX
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the HEALUX website (www.healux.be), the online booking platform, and the purchase and use of infrared sauna sessions, memberships, packages, gift cards and related wellness services provided by MJHB Consulting SRL, trading as HEALUX (“HEALUX”, “we”, “our”).

By using our website, creating a booking or purchasing any service, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.

1. Company Information

HEALUX is operated by:
MJHB Consulting SRL
Registered in Belgium
Email: hello@healux.be
Website: www.healux.be

2. Services

HEALUX provides private infrared sauna sessions and complementary wellness services intended to support general wellbeing, relaxation and recovery.

Our services are not medical treatments, do not replace professional medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.

All sessions remain subject to availability.

HEALUX reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue services where reasonably necessary.

3. Bookings & Payment

Bookings may be made online or in person.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required at the time of booking.

Prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.

A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a confirmation email has been issued.

HEALUX reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where:

* payment cannot be processed;

* fraudulent activity is suspected;

* incorrect pricing has been published due to an obvious technical error;

* exceptional operational circumstances prevent delivery of the service.

If HEALUX cancels a booking, the client may choose either:

* a full refund; or
* a rescheduled appointment.

4. Arrival & Late Arrival

Clients are requested to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

Late arrival reduces the available session time.

To avoid delaying subsequent bookings, sessions will end at their scheduled finishing time.

Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may be treated as a no-show at HEALUX’s discretion.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled session.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, missed appointments and no-shows will normally result in the session being forfeited or charged in full.

Exceptions may be considered at HEALUX’s sole discretion in documented cases of emergency or force majeure.

Where required by mandatory consumer legislation, statutory rights remain unaffected.

6. Packages, Memberships & Gift Cards

Packages, memberships and promotional offers are personal unless expressly stated otherwise.

Unused sessions are non-refundable except where mandatory Belgian law provides otherwise.

Memberships remain subject to their individual contractual conditions.

Gift cards:

* are non-refundable;

* cannot be exchanged for cash;

* may only be redeemed before their expiry date, where applicable.

HEALUX reserves the right to modify pricing for future purchases without affecting bookings already confirmed.

7. Health & Medical Information

By booking a session, clients confirm that:

* the health information they provide is complete and accurate;

* they will immediately inform HEALUX of any changes affecting their suitability for infrared sauna use.

Certain medical conditions may constitute contraindications or require prior medical approval.

HEALUX strongly recommends consulting a physician before using infrared sauna therapy if the client:

* is pregnant;

* suffers from cardiovascular disease;

* has uncontrolled hypertension;

* has implanted electronic medical devices;

* has acute illness or fever;

* has any other condition that could be affected by heat exposure.

HEALUX reserves the right to refuse or interrupt any session where participation may present an unacceptable health or safety risk.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

* follow all instructions provided by HEALUX staff;

* use the facilities responsibly;

* maintain appropriate hygiene;

* use the sauna only for its intended purpose;

* immediately report any discomfort during the session.

HEALUX reserves the right to terminate a session without refund where a client behaves in an unsafe, abusive or inappropriate manner.

9. Personal Property

Clients remain solely responsible for their personal belongings.

To the extent permitted by Belgian law, HEALUX accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused by its own negligence or that of its staff.

10. Liability

HEALUX undertakes to provide its services with reasonable care, professionalism and in accordance with applicable Belgian legislation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Subject to mandatory law, HEALUX shall not be liable for:

* indirect or consequential losses;

* loss of income or profits;

* business interruption;

* losses resulting from inaccurate health information supplied by the client;

* failure by the client to follow safety instructions.

Clients remain responsible for any damage intentionally or negligently caused to HEALUX facilities or equipment.

11. Website & Intellectual Property

All content available on the HEALUX website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, branding, videos and design elements, remains the exclusive property of HEALUX or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), applicable Belgian privacy legislation and the HEALUX Privacy Policy.

13. Force Majeure

HEALUX shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

* natural disasters;

* fire;

* flood;

* power outages;

* strikes;

* pandemics;

* government measures;

* technical failures;

* other unforeseeable circumstances.

Where possible, affected appointments will be rescheduled.

14. Consumer Rights

Nothing contained in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under Belgian or European consumer protection legislation.

Where these Terms conflict with mandatory law, the mandatory legal provisions shall prevail.

15. Amendments

HEALUX may update these Terms from time to time.

The version published on www.healux.be at the time of booking shall apply to the relevant purchase unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law.

Any dispute relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with Belgian law. Where legally permitted, the French-speaking courts of Brussels shall have jurisdiction.
